Google adsense offers Nigerian webmasters or web site owners an opportunity to make money from their websites. When we say websites can make money, we mean that they can literally make money from their web content. The more content your website has, the more money it is likely to make. When it comes to publishing with Adsense, content is really king and the more useful content you have, the more money you are likely to make.

Now, in Nigeria, the web industry is growing and content sites are becoming the more popular way people make money from the web. Being an adsense publisher literally requires that you write and publish most of your writings most of the time and get paid by Google for selling advertising space. Your payment or credit by Google adsense is mostly based on Clicks and/or impressions

There are already very popular sites in Nigeria which generate a lot of their income from adsense and this can be in amounts over $3000. As a start-up of new site, you may make little but as long as you reach Google adsense's minimum payment threshold of about $100 in a month, you will receive a check the nest month or you can simply place your payments on hold until it reaches a good sum before allowing a withdrawal.

Google adsense in Nigeria, is the most popular publishing program in Nigeria because of the following reasons

You will get banned from Google adsense for life if:
- You are caught clicking on ads
- You are suspected or found guilty of breaking their policies
