There could be a lot of Nigerians who are internet savvy and know that they can make money in Nigeria by blogging but not all of them are really ready or willing to take the risk in investing in a personalized blog yet which would involved setting up a website and paying for hosting and domain names. So how do you start a blog in Nigeria without paying for it? Is it possible to get a free blog in Nigeria and make money with it?

Those are good questions and I just want to tell you that's it's quite possible. You can get a free blog in Nigeria and there are a lot of sites that allow you to just sign up and start writing without having to pay for setting up your own blog or website. All you need to do is go to such sites and sign up for a free account and then start writing.

There are a a couple of others but it seems that the most popular among Nigerian bloggers are wordpress.com and blogger.com

What you need to do to setup your free blog
- Just go to the free blog website and sign up for a new account if you haven't done so already
- Run the setup for your blog and include the details concerning what your blog is about
- Edit your profile and save
- Your blog is all setup and for every new post you make, it goes live

Starting a new blog can be challenging
The main issue with blogging is that of creating new posts periodically. As you create more content, you may soon decide to blog less frequently or even allow guest bloggers to do the talking. More popular bloggers tend to post everyday or weekly and have thousands of readers already subscribed. As more traffic comes to your blog, the more it adds value to your site and the more its potential to bring in income for you.
