Access bank PLC is already paying final dividend to her shareholders and this they did through their Registrar United Securities. If you've not yet received yours, it should be sent to you soon by mail if you've not elected to receive payment directly to your bank. You may also visit United Securities office if you still have issues with that.

Now we know that Access bank was one of the strong banks in Nigeria who survived the CBN hammer and they just recently acquired Intercontinental bank plc making them have a wider asset base and shareholders.

They've initially sent out their initial dividend and now the final dividend warrants are already being issued out.

This dividend is for the year ending: 31/12/2011

Dividend declared: The final dividend Access bank declared for shareholders was set at N0.30 per share and this simply means that if you have 10,000 shares, you will receive N3,000 as your gross dividend.
They had already paid an initial dividend of N0.20 per share and that means total dividend payment per shareholder would be N0.50. The final dividend warrant at N0.30 per share is the last to be issued out.

Witholding Tax: This is a sort of tax that will be subtracted from your gross dividend before the final payment actually issued to you. It is set at 10% and so for a N3000 dividend, you will actually receive N2700 finally. You could also include your withholding tax paid to your credit when declaring your tax income.

Note: Dividend warrants in Nigeria are only valid for payment within 6 months after their issue date.

My return money from Access Bank Reply by Onwuka on Tuesday July 3, 2012 at 1:44:50:

I have applied severally at Access Bank at Olu Obasanjo Road Branch in Port Harcourt without any good result. I applied for my return money yet no tangible reason except that I was told they could not find my name on the list. Help me.

@Onwuka and others who are concerned about return money or share certificates, the best place to call is at the company registrar offices. For Access bank, I think it is United Securities limited for now
