Being able to make money online in Nigeria can be considered a good investment because the internet is the way of the future. The time is coming when people would no longer have to go to work by bus or personal card but your office would be at home. The thing about making money from the internet in Nigeria is that this is the right time to get started.

In developed nations like the USA and UK, the internet market is already grown and there are a lot of big players in the web industry already raking in billions annually just for being an internet company. In Nigeria there are little or no internet company that can boast of making reasonable income from the internet but that does not mean there are not any internet millionaires or success stories but the thing is that there are a few of them.

One question we need to ask ourselves is why are there very few or nor people making money from the internet in Nigeria? Why do Nigerians hardly make money online?

Some reasons I found out on why
- Unwillingness to learn new things
- Bad name given to internet business by fraudsters or Yahoo boys
- No or little education of the internet
- Inability to subscribe for internet access
- Poverty
- Misconception

Now all these reasons can be overcome if they:
- Have a positive view on the internet
- Be open to learn new things
- Invest in internet access
- Research ideas on how to make money online

When it comes to making money online, you should know that it is like a home business you can do without spending any additional dime other than having an internet ready computer and good business plan.

You can learn a skill like article writing, forex trading, blogging with Google adsense, affiliate marketing or even selling your own products online and you would find out that within a few months of serious effort, you would be better than you've ever been.
